Hi, my name is Emily and I am an endurance triathlete and cyclist. I am not usually one for labels but as part of my goal to really build my self belief I am embracing these labels and what they stand for. For me.
I created these designs with the help of a very talented stickman artist called Toby. They depict that moment when you stop and look back at where you came from. The times when you started out by borrowing a bike, when a 200m open water swim was so far out of your comfort zone, when you went cycling with someone for the first time in plimsoles and had a psi of 30 in your tyres (all true stories). Then you look where you are now where you own a bike for every day of the week, you can swim 5km in the open water and your psi is always over 80 on the road bike. Now look ahead - where are you going? What adventures will you go on? Who will you meet along the way? You are aiming for the stars and beyond.
This is true for all sports, but endurance sport is my love and so this is where the designs and the story came from.
